Murder in the House of Horrors (A SNADS/Exchange Event)
A chilling welcome awaits you this Halloween at the Minster Vale Museum* as you explore our new Exhibit, “Monsters, Murderers and Madmen.“
Admire the terrifying exhibits downstairs over a nerve-steadying drink before making your way into the main hall for an intriguing lecture on The Tomb of Menkaura given by the renowned researcher and Egyptologist, Professor Maurice Carter - who will be regaling us, over a sumptuous dinner including Dr Crippen’s canapés (“finger food” at its best), with tales of his recent Egyptian exploits whilst sharing some unusual and valuable artefacts with us, including the breathtaking and priceless Eye of Uadjit!
The event will be hosted by our distinguished and ebullient Museum Curator Dr Johann Vanderveer and Prof. Carter will be aided by his archaeological assistant Eliza Newman. We anticipate the Press will be attendance.
Do join us for what promises to be a spooktacular evening full of ancient archaeological adventure!
