Traditional Celtic music at its best! With fire-driven instrumentals, topical songs, haunting ballads and a good dose of humour, the Tannahill Weavers have transformed traditional
material and brought it into the modern world, vitally alive and kicking.
Members of the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame, in 2019 the Tannahill Weavers were nominated for Folk Album of the Year and Folk Band of the Year in Scotland. Recently they
have been joined by piper Iain MacGillivray, who is Scotland’s youngest Clan leader and has worked recently on such exciting productions as Outlander and Men in Kilts, and has performed for a huge list of stars and dignitaries in recent years.
"Formed from a Paisley pub session in 1968, seminal trailblazers the Tannahill Weavers now also rank as national treasures." -Glasgow Celtic Connections 2018
"The music may be pure old time Celtic, but the drive and enthusiasm are akin to straight ahead rock and roll." -Winnipeg Free Press
"An especially eloquent mixture of the old and the new." - New York Time

When Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Bob Geldof and Brian May need a Party Band, who do they call…?
Well, they obviously want the best for their parties, so nothing else will do. And with JAMIE & THE FALCONS (formerly The World Famous Red Sox) they know they’re in in good hands, because at some point they’ve probably played with a Falcon or two..
With a repertoire of over 300 songs covering 4 decades, a fantastic sense of fun and amazing flexibility and you’ll start to see why they’ve become The Rock Stars’ Choice. Or maybe yours!
“..thank you for the wonderful ‘vibe’ you gave to our wedding. It made the weekend one to remember…“
Phil Collins
…the ultimate party band!”
Brian May (Queen)
Highly recommend these guys. None better!

Adventures In Modern Recording – An Intimate Evening with Trevor Horn
From Seal to Frankie Goes to Hollywood, from ABC to Yes, from Grace Jones to Belle and Sebastian, and from Robbie Williams to Pet Shop Boys, one man has been at the heart of some of Britain’s most important pop music of the past 50 years: Trevor Horn.
The super producer has been described as ‘the man who invented the eighties’ and he was also responsible for the sound of such bands as Dollar, Malcolm McLaren, t.A.T.u. and countless more, including Hans Zimmer, Marc Almond, Tori Amos, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Art of Noise, Rod Stewart, and LeAnn Rimes.
After achieving a number one hit with his band, The Buggles, with Video Killed The Radio Star, Horn became a member of Yes before becoming the most important hit-maker of the 1980s – and beyond.
