One Night of SKA

One Night of SKA is a two hour homage to the music, bands and artistes that influenced two generations of teenagers.

Taking the best of the original 1960s Jamaican scene as well as the 2 Tone English Revival of the late 1970s this is crammed full of songs made famous by names such as Prince Buster, Desmond Dekker, Madness and Tony Tribe. Expect such fabulous hits as The Israelites, One Step Beyond, It Mek, My Girl, Monkey Man, Ghost Town, Watermelon Man, Red Red Wine, Too Much Too Young, Enjoy Yourself, and Al Capone amongst many, many others. Starring the hugely talented Gerry Slattery (Boy George Band, Rubettes, Showaddywaddy, Alvin Stardust Band etc etc) on guitar and vocals, and featuring the wonderful Chris Kane (original Bad Manners) on saxophone.

PLEASE NOTE: This will be a standing concert with seats available on one half of the raked seating only should people wish to sit down at any time.

Ninebarrow are a multi-award-winning folk duo, who are impressing audiences across the country with their innovative and captivating take on the folk tradition. Described by Mark Radcliffe as sounding like ‘two halves of one voice’, by Seth Lakeman as ‘a fantastic duo’ and by Kate Rusby as ‘absolutely amazing’, Jon Whitley and Jay LaBouchardiere combine breath taking vocal harmonies and melodies, delivering songs that are inspired and rooted in the landscape and history of the British Isles. Not only exceptional singers and musicians, Ninebarrow are also equally passionate about the stories behind their songs. An evening with the duo isn't just an evening of great music - it's also a night of history, folklore, and storytelling. Most recently, the duo were nominated in the 2017 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in the ‘Horizon’ category for Best Emerging Artist; their latest album, ‘The Waters and the Wild’ (released in April 2018) was awarded 5-stars in both The Morning Star and the English Folk Dance & Song Society’s EDS Magazine, and has received airplay on BBC Radios 2, 3, 6 Music, Wales and Scotland. Folk luminary, Mike Harding, has hailed it as ‘absolutely monumental’. For the first time, the duo will not only be joined by cellist and long-term collaborator, Lee Cuff, but also the extraordinary talent of John Parker on double bass. FLEETWOOD BAC are the world’s first and best Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band, endorsed by Mick Fleetwood himself, the only Mac tribute to authentically replicate the classic 'Rumours' line-up.

Over the last few years they have received rave reviews from 'The Stage' newspaper, the U.K.s leading Fleetwood Mac fansites, the official Stevie Nicks website; and from ecstatic audiences wherever the band played, wowing audiences as far afield as Dubai, St. Tropez, the Cayman Islands and Monte Carlo, and recently selling out the world-famous Minack Theatre in Cornwall.

Fleetwood Bac have also been rated by The Times newspaper as one of the U.K.'s top 5 tributes, alongside The Bootleg Beatles, Bjorn Again and the Counterfeit Stones.

Fans include original Mac bassist and biographer Bob Brunning, who joined the band several times on stage, and Peter Green's official biographer Martin Celmins.

The sound, the look, the mystical atmosphere and on-stage chemistry are all portrayed with the passion and energy that got the seal of approval from ‘Big Daddy’ Mick, and built up an excellent reputation amongst Mac fans through numerous tours, festival appearances, corporate events and TV and radio slots all over the U.K. and Europe.

The Fleetwood Bac show focuses on the ‘Rumours’ era of the band (still the 5th biggest-selling album of all time). It also features several songs from the Peter Green days, plus some of Stevie’s biggest solo hits, in either a theatrical 2-hour show, including costume-changes and an acoustic section, or a one-hour Greatest Hits Show, specially tailored for corporate events.

Mari Wilson first arrived on the scene in the early 80s with her skyscraper beehive hairdo bizarre sense of fashion and fully choreographed twelve piece band The Wilsations. Mari’s live shows were spoken about as an event - pure entertainment. A mainstay of Top Of The Pops (and an avid collector of Tupperware), Mari released six hit singles, the biggest being ʻJust What I Always Wantedʼ and ʻCry Me A Riverʼ, both taken from her classic album ʻShowpeopleʼ.

Since then Mari has never stopped touring, writing and recording.

Nominated in 2017 for a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Original Song for her composition, Moon and Back for U.S. TV Show The Young and the Restless, the last few years have been an eventful time:-

Sensational sell-out shows with her 8 piece band The New Wilsations at numerous summer festivals, Wilton’s Music Hall and Bush Hall where Mari was joined by special guest Marc Almond. Mari returned the favour by performing a duet with Marc as Soft Cell’s surprise guest at the O2.  She’s also been touring as guest singer with Heaven 17.  

Mari’s critically acclaimed 2016 album Pop Deluxe, (her album of songs previously made famous by Dusty, Cilla, Petula and Sandie) continues to be a big part of her fabulous show, together with her well known hits and a few surprises.

Mari’s audience is mesmerised by not only her voice but her spontaneous wit and natural storytelling, testament to 38 years of touring.

In the perfect collision of rowdy tunes, pumping danceability and compelling storytelling, this wrangling folk group present a medley of original songs and old time drinking tunes, both hilarious and thrilling, and sure to entertain!

HMATC released their album ‘Salem' in July 2017, receiving acclaimed reviews and radio play from several stations. The band have toured the UK twice, selling out venues across the country and appearing at festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Bestival and Beautiful Days. 'Salem's' lead single, the barnstorming indie-rock anthem ‘Cold Comfort Lane', was used for the end credits for the 2018 blockbuster movie Oceans 8. Now HMATC are heading back out on the world stage with a brand new album which launches in the Spring. Come along for the ride; the craziest party in town always has room for one more! Roy Orbison  & Buddy Holly

Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly both grew up in the same part of Texas. They recorded their earlier work in the Norman Petty Studios in Clovis, New Mexico, even at one point recording the same songs 'An empty cup’ (and a broken date) as well as ‘You’ve Got Love’ both written by Roy Orbison.


The two Artists brought a unique Texas influence into their music and through their creative writing for both an individual sound was born!

Roy Orbison went on to write so many songs including ‘Only the Lonely’ & ‘Crying’, and Buddy Holly in his short Career showed his writing talents would of gone on to match any songwriter in the world, which earned him a place (13th) in ‘The Rolling Stone’ ‘100 Greatest Artist of all Time’!


Darren Page’s vocal abilities have brought a reputation that always delivers a quality to entertain, but Darren’s secret love in music is Roy Orbison which sits very comfortable in Darren Page’s voice range.


Marc Robinson has played the part of Buddy Holly all over the world and all over Great Britain; he performed in ‘Buddy ‘The Musical and numerous other shows, with partners he founded ‘In Dreams & ‘Rockin on Heavens Door’, he also has many TV appearances to his name.

Marc’s latest show ‘Through the Decades with Roy Orbison & Buddy Holly’ will deliver a feel good factor with all the hits from…I Drove all Night, Mean Woman Blues, Pretty Woman, Heartbeat, Peggy Sue, It Doesn’t Matter Anymore & Raining in my Heart, to name but a few!


After playing in Europe and all over Great Britain Darren Page joined Marc Robinson, they both have dedicated their careers to Roy Orbison & Buddy Holly, this two-hour uplifting Rock n Roll Show is full of pure nostalgia with all their Hits and a few earlier ones too!
