All seven members of this astonishing ensemble are virtuoso musicians. Their music is a melting pot of culture and style, from 19th-century Eastern European Jewish wedding music to festive music from the Balkans, Greece, and Turkey. From performances in the famous concert halls of Europe, including Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, the Gasteig in Munich, London’s Southbank Centre and the Wigmore Hall, to TV appearances and live sessions on BBC Radio 3, She’Koyokh have also performed at Glastonbury and WOMAD festivals and collaborated with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Aurora Orchestra. With a sumptuous mix of violin, accordion, clarinet, double bass, guitar and percussion, and vocals from acclaimed Istanbul-born singer Cigdem Aslan, expect a night of exhilarating and invigorating music.
